Tornado Mishap Took A Life Of A Fiji Indian Man In South Auckland

A kind and an honest Fiji Indian man Janesh Prashad breathed his last on Saturday morning when the tornado struck the parts of South Auckland Frieght Hub in Wiri, leaving behind the grieving family of two young kids and a loving wife.

Janesh was attending his usual duties when the tornado ripped through the ports of South Auckland shipping yard. To this Mayor Phil Goff expressed his grief for the distressed family “Its really saad and our thoughts are with all of those that worked with and were family to and friends of the person that was killed’’.

Mala, wife of Janesh and all his family members bid farewell to the deceased on Sunday at friend’s house in Mt Roskill.

A great initiative is being succeeded by an online fundraising team known as Give a little powered by Perpetual Guardian who are raising funds to assist Male and her two children in such arduous times.
